to strength with classes across Surrey and Kent and
now West Sussex. If you are interested in getting involved
please contact Jeanette at the Target Shooting School.
Jeanette Leivers - Head Office

Jeanette was introduced to the sport in 2010 by her son Daniel, who also runs his own Target Shooting School classes. She is an NSRA-qualified Club Coach in Air Pistol, Air Rifle, Three Positions (3P), Lightweight Sporting Rifle and Crossbow. Jeanette is a member of the National Smallbore Rifle Association, the British Pistol Club and the English Schools Shooting Union (ESSU), and serves as Air Captain at Bookham Rifle Club.
“I am absolutely passionate about the sport and encouraging people of all ages to get involved, whether for fun or competitive shooting. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved since opening our doors in 2016 at grassroots level. Many of our students have progressed into other disciplines and trained with regional squads. If you or your child haven’t yet found an activity you truly enjoy, why not give it a try?”
Daniel Bavin - Surrey Principal

Daniel has been shooting since the age of 11, when he joined Fetcham Scouts. His enthusiasm for the sport soon led him to join Bookham Rifle Club. He was later invited to become a member of both the National Scout Squad and the South East Regional Pistol Squad, competing in pistol shooting at national and European levels.
He has been involved with the Target Shooting School since its formation in 2016, becoming a full-time member of the team in September 2019 and running his own schools from April 2021.
Daniel is an NSRA-qualified Club Coach in Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Lightweight Sporting Rifle and Crossbow. He is also a member of the British Pistol Club and currently serves as Junior Captain of Bookham Rifle Club.
Mal West - Kent Principal

Mal has had a lifelong involvement in shooting, having been introduced to the sport by his father in early childhood. Captaining his university rifle club provided a springboard into competitive shooting and coaching.
After graduating, he became Head of Shooting at a prestigious UK international school, where he coached for 15 years and guided generations of young shooters into County, Regional and National squads. Mal began working with TSS in 2017 and established TSS Kent in 2018.
He holds coaching qualifications from the NSRA, ISSF, CPSA, MoD and NRA, and brings over 25 years of coaching experience. His aim is to introduce shooting to a wider audience and help reinstate it as an accepted and valued part of community life in Kent.
Joe De Michele - Sussex Principal

Joe joined Bookham Rifle Club (BRC) in 2018, where he serves as Lightweight Sporting Rifle Captain, and has recently qualified as an NSRA Club Coach. He is also a member of the NSRA, the NRA and Chipstead & District Rifle Club.
He is passionate about supporting students of all ages as they enter the sport for the first time or return to it, and he particularly enjoys encouraging parents to get involved whenever they are keen to have a go.
